Designing for Content, Coach, and Community: Key Ingredients for Effective Synchronous and Asynchronous Online Learning
In this web-workshop, participants will review practical design strategies that aim to help learners actively engage with content, feel supported by a coach and participate in a learning community. These strategies will be introduced within the constraints and affordances of the synchronous and asynchronous learning environments.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to design strategies that aim to engage their prospective learners, as aligned to the 3 Cs (Content, Coach, and Community) and situated in either synchronous or asynchronous learning environments.
