Nurturing young leaders as agents of change

Pathways to Higher Education is a social involvement program of the Ateneo de Manila University under its fifth Loyola School– the Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design (GBSEALD). We identify high-potential but financially underprivileged senior high school students and nurture them into ethical and discerning young leaders committed to excellence and service to society.

Pathways equips them with the necessary academic skills and confidence to access quality higher education in reputable universities in Luzon.

Students also undergo values and leadership formation to help them discover their life’s purpose and realize their potential to become positive agents of change.

In a time when there are few role models for the youth, they will be part of a larger, caring community of like-minded individuals who share the same values and desire to be of service to the country.

Since 2002, it has successfully equipped over 360 alumni who are now creating positive ripples of change in business, government, healthcare, academe and the development sector.
